Benji Kirkpatrick and Nature

  • June 10, 2016

Benji KirkpatrickBenji Kirkpatrick is set to play a free event next weekend as part of Midsummer Music, a mini-series of free music gigs responding to themes in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The event will feature special guests Kate Young and Lisa Knapp and take place at the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Swan Gardens on Saturday 18 June, 5.30 – 7pm.

Commenting on the upcoming event, Benji said:

Nature is hugely important to me and has been all my life, being brought up in the countryside I’ve always found great solace in natural surroundings; it’s a place of escape, inspiration, calm and sensation. It is our one provider and I feel passionately that humans must find a way of living alongside it rather than against it for the sake of all our futures.
